About Us

The Council on Applied Chiropractic Sciences seeks to enhance the growth of knowledge, the refinement of skills and the deepening of understanding within the science of chiropractic for the individual chiropractic practitioner and the profession as a whole so that more knowledgeable, competently and safely administered chiropractic care may be provided to the public. The ICA Council on Applied Chiropractic Sciences works to fulfill its many goals through a variety of programs. The Council’s work includes:

— Promoting continued excellence of patient care in the application of chiropractic science, philosophy, and art as it relates to the reduction, management and/or correction of the multiple parameters of the Vertebral Subluxation Complex. –Protecting the health and well-being of the individual patient and public through enhanced education, communications, and advancements in the clinical applications of chiropractic science and principles.

The Council on Applied Chiropractic Sciences is committed to accomplishing these important priorities through establishment and maintenance of credentialing systems, certification programs, and education and research protocols directed toward the advancement of the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic.
